- This song has notably not been presented in any form outside of the Dial-A-Song phone line, where it was first heard in November 2000. When asked on the band's Tumblr in 2014 if a studio recording would ever be released, John Flansburgh replied, "We've looked and it seems the studio version is totally MIA. We work too fast."[1] During an October 2026 Instagram livestream, Flansburgh revealed that he had recently discovered a high quality board mix of the song. He suggested that it may be released in the near future through TMBG Shop for the mailing list.[2]
