Nathan Durham[1]
Nathan Durham is a Michigan-based musician who played the tuba in the TMBG Mini-Brass. He has also performed on Broadway[2] and has recorded for Dawn Upshaw and Mandy Patinkin.[3] He has also been featured on a record alongside Marcus Rojas.[4]
Currently, Durham resides in Kalamazoo and performs with Kanola Band, a New Orleans jazz band. In addition to playing tuba, Durham also plays trombone.[5] At one point he was also on the faculty of the Kalamazoo Jazz & Creative Institute.[6] On his Facebook profile, his favorite quote is listed as "If it weren't [sic] for disappointments, I wouldn't have any appointments." from "Snowball In Hell."[7]
