🛷 TMBG news: New album! More shows! 🛷 New socks! 🧦 New hammers! 🔨[edit]
Less than 100 tickets left! Sunday in Chicago https://bit.ly/TMBG050326
Hey everybody, John F. here! Greetings from Chicago. The vibes are a little drizzly but otherwise fantastic! The new album is receiving very positive reviews by critics and audiences alike and it’s exciting to even be getting some spins on the radio. Marty Beller has a brand new World Is to Dig bass drum head coming in today, and even the mock up looks pretty dazzling. Starting in Woodstock, and on to Indianapolis and Detroit the tour has been picking up velocity. With so much brand new material and songs coming in from so many different albums, it’s been a whirlwind. Detroit was especially loose with new levels of discombobulated stage banter threatening to crowd out the regularly-scheduled program.
We have three big shows at the Vic in Chicago this weekend with only 100 seats left for the Sunday show https://bit.ly/TMBG050326 and Philadelphia is pretty much the same deal with just one show to go on May 17th https://bit.ly/TMBG051726.
As always, we want to encourage people to post everything on social media, including show reviews at www.TMBW.net. Those archived set lists really help me out, so keep that alive.

JF here again. So you know what is surprising? I suspect many of you are pretty aware that “vinyl is back” (and for TMBG it has really come charging back in the last five years), but quite unexpectedly in the past couple of years interest in CDs has BLOWN UP. We started pressing cassettes and CDs in a speculative way a while back, but the sales of CDs in the last year or so have taken off. Of course, there is no way to predict these things, but as long as this keeps up, we will try to meet the demand. Right now, we are happy to point everyone to www.TMBGshop.com where we have freshly printed CDs of The World Is to Dig, along with Glean. (More to come!)
…but this is still my favorite...
We got nightlights.
…and we got John Henry hammers!
