FIVE DOLLAR ALBUM DOWNLOADS!
AND A BRAND NEW SONG!
See all of it here…
Hey y'all. John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants here wishing you all the safest and calmest of autumnal vibes. Earlier this week we sent out an email explaining that over the next couple of weeks we are raising funds to benefit our crew and live band in this moment of crumminess. (All proceeds to the efforts described below will go to our people -- nothin' to John L. or me.)
I LOST THURSDAY!
We have a special brand new song available for your downloading pleasure called I Lost Thursday. It's a zesty recording and we think it's a relatable theme. We have been told by people who use the expression "banger" that it's a banger. Because we really are trying to raise some dough for our people, the exclusive download has a suggested price of five dollars but we also know many other people out there are also going through tough times so we have made it a "pay what you can" effort, so you can download it for free or toss in $20 because you're THAT nice.
CATCH UP with MODERN and MY MURDERED REMAINS
We also have also put on sale two other excellent albums for the low price of five dollars, also to benefit our band and crew. One is a compilation of great, but less recognized songs called Modern, and the other is our download-only, no-streaming-sites-invited album My Murdered Remains which still includes a bonus set of songs from our 2018 Dial-A-Song posts--also only available here.
AND FOR JUST $15
You get the new song, the two albums and the bonus set of songs and have the satisfaction of knowing pasta and sauce will be cooking on stovetops across the tri-state area with the eager recipients praising your good judgment.
There are all kinds of chores and hustles
There are even self-employment puzzles
but when side deals turn main
what will keep your scene sane
is MailChimp's practical muscle
