I would like to nominate the word "embittered" here for "most difficult to understand TMBG lyric of all time (that isn't intentionally distorted)." I have looked up and then forgotten what word is there three times now. When I know what word it is I can hear it, but when I've forgotten I can play that section on repeat a very large number of times without being able to even guess what word it might be. It sounds liked "a baytida". This most recent time I even remembered several salient facts from the last time I'd looked it up, like "that's the word 'or', not an A at the end" and "there's a consonant sound near the beginning that's almost completely elided", but it was just impossible.
