Kit Kat Acoustic Break was a series of promo CDs sponsored by Kit Kat and sent to college radio stations nationwide. Pat DiNizio of The Smithereens was the host, and it featured interviews and live acoustic performances, in half-hour segments.
Each disc contains two segments. The TMBG segment is on the first show on the first disc, along with The Cheese and Duncan Sheik on the second segment.
This performance was recorded in the fourth quarter of 1996 in New York City, and was broadcast January 29th, 1997.
