This just sounds like a parody of beat poetry to me... with the typical Brothers Chaps humor thrown in. No self-respecting poet would rap about such a childish subject for any length of time - unless you count TMBG. Which is probably why their style seems to mesh perfectly with H*R. -- Jakesbrain.
The lyrics make references to the old childhood joke 'Why did the chicken cross the road' Q: Why did the chicken cross the road? A: To get to the other side. Q: Why did the *Thing* cross the road? A: Because it was stapled to the chicken. Q: What did the zero say to the eight? A: "Nice belt"
