I've always thought that this song has a hint of sarcasm in it. Perhaps mocking the dumb fights over nothing people tend to get into all the time. -A Moose Denied
This is about a man on the sidewalk. A man walks up to him and asks him what the time is in a foreign language. He stares at the man. The man blinks and repeats himself. He starts singing, and the other man, near the middle of the song, leaves, while other people on the sidewalk just walk around him. They're pretty used to this from him now- yesterday he was singing about Fingertips to a young woman named Salioshy. -Salioshy
