Hey team, I have noticed something odd about the cassette cover art.
I have the Restless re-issue which mysteriously features the letters "AT" prominently in the middle of the image of the fire. Because I'm too lazy to scan it in I searched online for a picture. No luck on Discogs, which appears to have lifted the image used on TMBW to illustrate the Restless release - however their image of the Bar/None release clearly shows the letters "AT" burning away: https://www.discogs.com/They-Might-Be-Giants-Dont-Lets-Start/release/3269982#images/25554395
So it's on both the Bar/None release picture above and the Restless release I have. I suspect that all copies of the cassette include this image variation (which I put down to a very 1980s drafting board slip-up with an exacto knife and PVA), and therefore that the image used on TMBW has been either modified to match the 12" release, or has perhaps simply been created digitally?
The alternative is that there is an "AT" error version and fixed version issued by Bar/None, and then Restless repeated this error and correction? Keen to hear any thoughts and see any actual photographic image that there is of a cassette copy without the "AT". 202.67.117.245 10:25, 13 June 2021 (EDT)
- there's no mystery, it's the fault of a young lazy me. i'll get around to a fix one of these days. -- 12:30, 13 June 2021 (EDT)
- I got here from the Talk:Main Page where this page was mentioned, I just want to say, I think it's a trademark for restless and Bar/None for rereleases AT meaning AGAIN TRADEMARKED or something
