12.224.71.110 writes I'm pretty sure that's "Even when we get along", and I must confess that I never researched any lyrics before I assumed it was "Even when we get it on". Shame on me. Perhaps we need something like a Misheard Lyrics page like at http://www.amiright.com. --SR

141.151.33.250 added S-E-X-X-Y. However, as ironic as it may be, I don't think S-E-X-X-Y is about sex. (I'll add my own interpretation some day). I'm inclined to remove this addition if no one can validate it. --SR

I know in the "Notes to Factory Showroom" or somesuch they refer to it as their first "ode to getting on." The song is also often dedicated "to the ladies." Of course, interpretations must come from the substance of the song itself, "standing on the bed" and "around the clock with nobody else" and "one fingernail across your back" all seem to speak to the straightforwardness of the title. I would guess that the "secret agent spy" briefly glimpsed speaks more to Flansburgh's unfortunate weakness for this character than any significant lyrical plot point, unless one considers that the actual music sounds rather like the theme to a spy film; coated in sex as they aspired to be. In which case he may have thought it not out of place if not especially appropriate. --User:Tisher

Very well... excellent information. Let it remain. Thanks Tisher. --SR

Uh, oh, Mr. Nuclear, you misheard this the way I originally did. Please see the first entry in this note up above. :) --SR

Is "...when you're much too busy returning to the womb" really sexual? It seems more like just a regression thing. --Nyquil Poet

Not sexual. Removed. --User:Tisher

I think it's at least worth an honorable mention, due to the possible Freudian (if not chauvinistic) hidden meaning of "returning to the womb". (maybe I need a shrink!) --SR

What the hell is this?

"Chazz Dean – "Lust" A mixtuer as advertizing and sex. "

Oh, that's from Flansy's Watchface group. Him and 6 other people did little performance things for "Sin", some project where each of the 7 members performed a sketch describing one of the seven deady sins in current times or something. I guess one of the sketches was "Lust," portrayed by Mr. Dean. ~ magbatz 12:23, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
