Radio station Christmas concert, for 94.5 the Edge. TMBG were announced as a surprise addition to the show on 1994-12-07, the night they played at the Majestic Theater in Dallas. The show was at the Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas, TX. TMBG performed last in the set, after the headlining act, the Go-Go's.

Unfortunately, after the Go-Go's finished about half the capacity crowd hit the parking lot, which meant Brooklyn's They Might Be Giants played to what felt like a party on its last legs. Not that they let it hamper them: TMBG's energetic live versions of Particle Man, The Guitar, Nyquil Driver and Istanbul (Not Constantinople) filled the aisles with dancing fools who didn't care about work on Monday or the lateness of the hour, and deservedly so. These guys ought to play arenas more often, because - unlike so many alternative bands nurtured in clubs - they can really pull it off.
