Fan Recaps and Comments:

The third annual HFStival (sponsored by the radio station WHFS), held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets were $6 in advance and $7 at the gate. Other acts on the bill were Charlatans UK, Soup Dragons, Ocean Blue, Catherine Wheel, Wolfgang Press, Too Much Joy, Graham Parker, and Manifesto. The band played from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m.

Review from the Washington Post (July 15, 1992):

Of the performers, Brooklyn's They Might Be Giants met with the warmest audience response (and, more importantly, had the longest lines at the T-shirt tent). The reeling goofiness of such songs as 'I Palindrome I' and 'She's Actual Size' was in keeping with the tenor of the event, as was the group's call for audience requests for 'songs we've never played before.'

TMBG returned to the HFStival in 2005.
