Cease & Desist is a hardbound, color book featuring illustrations by graphic designer Todd Alcott inspired by They Might Be Giants. Alcott's artwork came to the band's attention from his submissions to the official TMBG Tumblr.
The book was included in memberships of the 2020 edition of the They Might Be Giants Instant Fan Club, and was planned to be sold elsewhere including the band's concerts prior to them being delayed due to COVID-19, however the additional stock intended to be sold on tour (around 800 copies) went toward allowing additional IFC signups.
