So, does anyone here happen to have access to CMJ? I'd love to do some CMJ research, but they want $400. I've exhausted every resource that I have, and no dice. Does anyone have a subscription that they'd be willing to share? --Duke33 15:20, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I do not have an account to CMJ, but maybe a university or company may. I am not sure how their subscriptions work. For the charts that don't display because they have too few data points, one could enter a number larger than 200 in an entry for chart position in the week(s) when it drops off the chart. This would display as such, dropping off the chart. The number could be ridiculously large, too, so people looking at the edit page wouldn't think it was a real chart position. Just thought. CMJ would be awesome to look though. Krueger 03:22, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

I actually got in touch with some CMJ people earlier this year, and they were nice enough to send me the data that they had for TMBG. The only problem though is that CMJ only started keeping track of their charts electronically since 2000 or 2001. So, anything before that would require you to go through a physical copy of a magazine to pull it. So, unless someone has a stack of CMJ mags they want to go through, we've done as much as we can for now.--Duke33 18:49, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
