Exact Flansburgh quotations
Before the song:
"We would to like ask you for this one brief moment to disregard the fire laws. Feel free to just come on up and help us out with The Famous Polka."
After the stage collapse:
"I was just talking about the aisles, folks. I wasn't trying to invite everybody to stage dive." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.37.126.231 (talk) 10:20, April 29, 2005

Car Alarm
Anyone know why Hide Away Folk Family says "Car Alarm" next to it?
- Similar to "scream as if you were in hell" (Watch it on ), this was a bit where the audience was asked to imitate the sound of a car alarm during the instrumental bridge. -TDK (talk) 16:54, 6 June 2016 (EDT)
The Famous Stage Collapse: Visual Edition?
Does anyone know if there are pictures that exist of what the stage looked like? I, out of curiosity, want to see the extent of the damage. -Bouncer15111
Hey
I'm very glad everyone in the Modjeska Theatre (including TMBG) are still alive that day. Seriously. --The Mayor of Cowtown (talk) 23:16, 8 February 2021 (EST)
Opener
I'm not making this edit quite just yet, as I wanna see if I can research it first, but I'm almost certain this is a show that Freedy Johnston opened for. This is judging solely based on Joel's description of "a guy with an acoustic guitar" and the time period this show was played. --Robot Parade (talk) 17:18, 11 January 2025 (EST)
