Availability to 2024 members

I think the um question is in the topic line... won't it? --⇂⇂↋ suᴉɥsuǝZ ʎɯɯᴉᒋ (talk) 13:49, 8 April 2024 (EDT)

I very much hope downloads of exclusive content from previous years are available in the 2024 IFC store, especially given the number of new TMBG fans since 2020 who haven't been in the IFC before. I'd encourage any new members interested in content like this to politely reply to your IFC receipt email, mentioning content you hope to be able to purchase (like the Trio Sessions, Cave Fish EP, etc) from the IFC Store when it opens. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 13:55, 8 April 2024 (EDT)

Separate Track Pages

Should individual track pages be made for these versions? --Lukehennisch (talk) 17:45, 8 April 2024 (EDT)

We've essentially stopped making TMBW pages for tracks on live albums - in the past it's added a ton of extra stub articles to the site with very little in way of value (typically they have identical lyrics, trivia, themes, etc). I wouldn't be upset if we lost, for example, Minimum Wage (Live In Australia) or Cyclops Rock (Ritz Show) - but deleting all those pages would also be a ton of work and not necessarily productive. For now I think we just chill on creating more of them. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 19:22, 8 April 2024 (EDT)
Agreed. However, these feel more special (they're also studio) than say Live In Brooklyn or 2018 Live. TitanicFog (talk) 11:32, 9 April 2024 (EDT)
That's true, and maybe my issue is more with pages being made for tracks from download-only live shows (Ritz Show, Almanac, etc), as it feels like a potentially infinite proposition if we made pages for tracks from the 2015 Brooklyn duo show or 2013 Asbury Park show or whichever live downloads are coming down the line. Like you said, I suppose these tracks are notable for being recorded in-studio, and for showing up on the Secret Music Vol. 1 disc. (Then again, 2018 Live is on disc too. Decisions!) -CapitalQtalk ♪ 12:33, 9 April 2024 (EDT)
