- The song was supposed to be the title theme for the animated series Stewy the Dog Boy on Nickelodeon, but the series was cancelled before it aired. A June 1999 profile with the New York Times described the theme as "human barking fill[ing] the room".[1]
- This song borrows the melody of the classic They Might Be Giants Dial-A-Song jingle, "You're Watching...".
