The They Might Be Giants Instant Fan Club is launched for the year.
In January, the band announced the release of Some Murdered Remains, a sampler featuring six tracks culled from My Murdered Remains. It was made available on TMBG's Free Downloads page.
In July, the band initiated a benefit t-shirt project for RAICES, a leading organization in Texas helping separated families, detained families, unaccompanied minors, and others seeking asylum in the United States. The shirt was made available on the band's merchandise page.
