I know it’s not written by the Johns, but I can’t read their minds any better than the mind of Jonathan Richman anyway.
It’s about a guy. He wants to dance. But the bar scene sucks. Everyone sits on their butts and drinks.
He enters a bar full of women, and they love to dance. The guy won’t pick up a date there, but so what?--he’s loving the experience. The women want to dance and so does he.
