What exactly might a "digital trash compactor" be? I tried to duplicate this sort of effect once with little success. :-)

It's some kind of bitcrusher filter that heavily digitizes and distorts Linnell's voice. Flans called it a "digital trash compactor" in the Unlimited description as a metaphor. --Oddjob 19:05, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
