- This song was originally recorded by The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
- Played by request of a caller on a radio show in 1992. It was suggested after TMBG performed "Smells Like Teen Spirit," but TMBG at first passed on it because it sounded too much like the first song. After a few more unappealing choices (including 25 O'Clock, which they would cover 3 years later), John and John settled on doing a snippet of "Fire."
