+ | I'm not necessarily saying the idea's an original, but is there agreement that "''The punning use of letter names owes a debt to {{wp|William Steig}}'s children's books, ''{{wp|CDB!}}'' (1968) and ''{{wp|CDC?}}'' (1984)''"? I'm skeptical; it's just as likely it owes a debt to immature kids wanting others to admit to seeing them pee. ~ [[user:magbatz|magbatz]] 11:34, 14 November 2010 (UTC) |

I have the combo thing from Amazon.com, and the video for this song is completely different than the X-misses-his-meteorologist-friend. It's a video with real people in a doctor's office. I like it much better. I can upload a screenshot maybe if I can figure out how to. Did I do that right?--Valerie 10:29, 8 Jun 2006 (MDT)
- Yep - looks good. I hadn't heard of that before. --Duke33 12:19, 8 Jun 2006 (MDT)
- I am here just to confirm that the way to get the live-action video for this song is to get the Amazon CD/DVD combo set. My wife likes that one much better than the animated one, so it became important when we needed to replace the DVD :) -- microwiz 17:45, 2 Apr 2008
I always thought he said "I R W" not "I I W", though I I W clearly makes more sense. But after reading the real lyrics I listened to the song again, and it still sounds like I R W. Is it just me?
Performances Glitch
Anybody know why the page for this song lists it as being played at a show in 1988? It's not on the setlist for that show and I'm pretty sure it hadn't even been written yet so I don't know why that link shows up. Is there a way to fix it? I took a quick look around but couldn't figure it out and I was working on something else anyway.--BlueCanary 07:25, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Original idea or no?
I'm not necessarily saying the idea's an original, but is there agreement that "The punning use of letter names owes a debt to William Steig's children's books, CDB! (1968) and CDC? (1984)"? I'm skeptical; it's just as likely it owes a debt to immature kids wanting others to admit to seeing them pee. ~ magbatz 11:34, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
