hey, i'm bobana, also known as pickled-asparagus (pronouns she/her/any)! i've been a tmbg fan since i was around 6 years old, but my interest in it really picked up once i could (a) comprehend music, and (b) control what music i listened to myself (lol). my first introduction to tmbg that i can remember is listening to the Flood cd on roadtrips...that cd has since broken and will now only play Minimum Wage, which is a shame. i'm planning on turning it into some sort of visual art piece...but that has yet to come about!

About Me

so, what's the deal with this "bobana" guy...uh. well, i like to fancy myself somewhat of a webmaster! you can find me at 'pickled-asparagus.neocities.org' (be warned: it's going through a total overhaul right now!), or on the collaborative site 'japanada.neocities.org' (for a tmbg-specific page, try 'japanada.neocities.org/the-temple/tmbg').

other than that, i like to read, write, draw, play the cello and listen to they might be giants, of course. other musicians i like include jamie paige (fun fact no one talks about: the accordion solo in 'birdbrain' is done with linnell's old accordion), talking heads (+david byrne's solo work), oingo boingo and black box recorder. i'm currently learning the guitar and harmonica (with the hopes to someday master both simultaneously...) as well, and this wiki's TMBG In 4 Chords page has been a big help in that regard!
