I'm 35 from Melbourne Australia. They Might Be Giants have been my favourite band since 1996 when Factory Showroom was the feature album on Triple J. Prior to that I had never heard of them. Several months after aquiring Factory Showroom, I bought Then which totally blew me away, the obscure stuff at the end of each cd as much as the album tracks. I missed the March 1997 concerts as they coincided with my 21st birthday party and I could hardly skip my own party for a concert, however I did see the first Melbourne show in 2001 on the Mink Car tour and still kick myself for not seeing the Flood show the following night. I did however meet John and John at an instore appearance at Gaslight Records where I made a nuisance of myself when my camera malfunctioned but they were so great and accomodating.
