i know they played at One Step Beyond, in San Jose, CA, sometime in 1988, but no idea the date. Anyone know? the friend i went with knows it was 1988 because she was driving her dad's car, but beyond that, we can't really narrow it down. i remember it was just the 2 johns, no band. and like a million random instruments and prerecorded sound bites. i'd never seen anything like it!
