Wax cylinder[edit]
'If I Wasn't Shy' is totally not a "wax cylinder" recording. It sounds more like a worn out cassette tape. Does that mean there IS a 'wax' version though? --Propman 21:26, 24 April 2012 (EDT)
- "if i wasn't shy" is definitely the version from the show at the norddeutscher (and i'm pretty sure those recordings are pretty decent in quality??). i think it's more likely that flans just got his facts wrong. he seemed to stumble through that particular bit. -Apollo (colloquia!) 21:43, 24 April 2012 (EDT)

Does anyone know more about the radio appearance that this version of Istanbul is from? I always thought the host here sounded notably aggravated by the band. I just get curious about the context of that everytime I hear this.
