Talk:Older (Long Tall Weekend Version)
I have a question/suggestion about how we're doing the video/screenshots links and images on songs' pages. There are a lot of videos for the non-definitive versions of songs (all the venue songs' videos come to mind), and so the video links and screenshots are in that other version's song page. Although that's wiki-ly correct and the correct information links to the correct media, it might not be good navigating-wise, like if someone on the internet came to the wiki, went to the Dallas/Trees song page or even the Older page looking for the right video and saw no links to any video (they wouldn't expect the screenshots or whatever for Trees to be on the "Dallas (Studio)" page). Plus, I think it just looks better for the song's main page to have priority for pictures and stuff rather than the page named after the normal version, then with some parenthetical stuff afterward. ~ magbatz 22:49, 16 May 2006 (CDT)

- I'm thinking both too-- it never hurts to have it in its main page and the specific page for a song. But before I do anything, I'll wait for other people to put in their opinions. ~ magbatz 11:56, 17 May 2006 (CDT)
- Ultimately, I'd rather see the images on the correct song version, but I understand things like page length and usability get in the way. I wouldn't mind seeing the snapshots on the 'main song page' (no parentheses) though. Some suggestions that come to mind are telling which version of the song that video was made for in the caption of the pic, or mentioning in the triva that a video was made for a different version of the song (whether we put images on the main page or not). --badqueso 00:46, 18 May 2006 (CDT)

Page name[edit]
Since this is the version used most often (and which has had plenty more releases), shouldn't this be the version without the parentheses and the other one be "Older (Mink Car Version)"? — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 21:57, 21 Jun 2006 (MDT)
