Talk:Lord Snowdon
No discussion here yet? This song is one of my favorites from the new album (which says a lot!). Among my favorite TMBG emotional numbers, even if it's kind of tame in that regard. The lyrics seem really potent. I think it's supposed to be about mortality and how seemingly mundane things can become nostalgic memories of a bygone era ("Ashtrays and busy lines / Silent days always with you, dear" ... "Light through a shutter's lense / Where it's frozen like you, dear"). This isn't the interpretations page though, and I can't write a competent interpretation for my life, so I'll leave it at that. It's also one of the few TMBG love(-ish) songs that actually feel authentic to me. What I'm trying to say is, this song is really good. --DoubleDenial (talk) 01:33, 23 November 2021 (EST)
