Why isn't this album available anymore?

I saw it for sale on a site somewhere. For $80. -Ecks

On what site did you see it?

Couldn't find it, but I think I was searching Google. -Ecks

It's a promotional CD of a show at Sony Music Studios that was sent out to radio stations and members of the Hello club. Occasionally one pops up on eBay or a site like eil.com. Three songs from it were remixed for Severe Tire Damage. -TDK 08:36, 4 Jan 2006 (EST)

That is not fair of TMBG to release Live!! New York City 10/14/94 as a promo CD excusively for the Hello Club.

It's perfectly fair, and if you were a fan at the time, you might've gotten a copy. -CapitalQ 06:37, 5 Jan 2006 (EST)

But that is NOT fair to me!

You can hear most of this on tMBG Clock Radio. - extrafacelol

You can buy it here for $65. -CapitalQ 22:08, 11 Jan 2006 (EST)

Just wondering, why is the "(EP)" in the title? It's almost an hour long... Akagi 22:27, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

That's why it's an extended play. :] -CapitalQtalk ♪ 23:07, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Well yeah, that sounds logical enough, but I did a little research and according to Wikipedia, an EP normally has 10 to 25 minutes of music. Akagi 23:24, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Well anyone can type whatever they want to into one of those Wikipedia sites, so that isn't a very reliable source... ~ magbatz 23:37, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Yes, but this is more LP length than EP length. Sure, wikipedia has some false information, but, in this case, they're right. I mean, look at all of the officially released TMBG EPs. They certainly fit the description of "10 to 25 minutes of music." I won't change the page title, but I'm just saying, EP is definitely not the word to describe this CD. --Ehsteve14 00:24, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Does anyone have a copy and be willing to burn me one? I'd pay for the P&P and blank disc obviously. timothyahall@gmail.com

Found Used[edit]

I found a copy of of this, for $3 at Everyday Music in Portland, Oregon in 2003 or so. Simple cardboard sleeve with the Electra logo and the catalog number "PRCD 9083-2".

How much is this actually worth?[edit]

I found mine on eBay in very good condition (no creases, discoloration, no scratches on disc) for $5.00 and $8.00 after shipping. I could be wrong but I believe I got lucky because I see beat up copies going for $50-$70. Basically I'm curious to see how much you guys paid for your copy. --Altermanncam 18:10, 17 May 2013 (EDT)

copies that expensive don't actually sell. some people just overestimate the worth of the disc. tmbg fans — especially lately — are unnervingly astute on ebay and willing to pay through the nose when they see fit. it's weird. -Apollo (colloquia!) 18:16, 17 May 2013 (EDT)

I recently bought one that is in pristine condition for just under $18 after shipping fees, so it's obviously clear its more common and less valuable then people actually think. -yeetgod 22:14, 10 July 2016
