Talk:Famous Fans
Just expanded the details about Chris Morris. [22Feb 2006, 21.17)
What about Michael McKean and Harry Shearer? Are they fans...I know they filmed segments for Gigantic.--Duke33 17:27, 11 Nov 2004 (EST)
Maybe we should just include a section for alleged fans. I read that Bon Jovi listed Flood as one of his favorite albums for the year it was released, for example.

Janeane Garofolo?[edit]
Is she a fan? I know they do her show sometimes...
I think it's fair to assume that all of the people who did interviews for Gigantic are fans.
Yes, these people are all confirmed fans. (added)
Suggestion[edit]
I like the idea of this page. But I'd like to see more evidence and proof that these people like TMBG. I'd suggest a page that resembles HRWiki's Homestar Sightings page
Weird Al[edit]
Everything you know is wrong' was one of my favorite songs before I ever got into TMBG, I can't tell how the song relates to them.

Colbert Reference...[edit]
I remember watching the first episode of the Colbert report, but can't seem to remember a TMBG reference. I suspect there may be others like me who are frustrated by the fact that this article mentions that a reference occured, but doesn't list what it is. Can somebody [fill me in/do some research to figure it out] and let me know, so that we can add it to the article, and save me and countless others from sleeplessness and agony? -AtionSong 20:59, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
"new criterion for being in a famous band: at least one last.fm play"[edit]
I would just like to point out that I had made a typo in my research process. I apologize fully to Gallo's Underground for the allegation made against them, and in the wake of this fiasco, I would like to announce the new criterion for musical fame: at least 5 last.fm listeners. ~ magbatz 19:11, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
