somebody please tell me this song is a parody of "Flying" by The Beatles because they sound very similar

To be honest, I don't think they're that alike. The tempo and the time signature are similar, but that's about all they share (in my view). The beginning of the opening melodic phrase is incredibly similar, but then the two lines diverge, so I'm with the OP on this one. Dr Raygun 14 Decemebr 2014
