Talk:Addiction, Compulsion

Is it just me or should this theme either not exist or be pared down massively from its current state? If the theme is supposed to be about addiction or compulsion to do something, substance abuse-related or not, then simple references to drugs or alcohol shouldn't really count unless it IS an addiction. Stuff like "Thunderbird" would still count since it's both about drugs/alcohol and addiction, but simply mentioning coffee/alcohol/marijuana/etc. shouldn't be enough to qualify "addiction/compulsion" as a theme unless the compulsion part is made clear elsewhere in the song.

oh hey you are totally right! since this is one of those (at least somewhat prominent) dark themes that i think it's interesting to note in tmbg's catalogue, the page should probably stick around, but if you'd like to go ahead and remove the ones that have nothing to do with addiction, then feel free to do that! -Apollo (colloquia!) 10:16, 11 December 2011 (EST)
