Talk:(She Thinks She's) Edith Head

From This Might Be A Wiki

I have an MP3 of this song, and for some reason, there's no words at all up to the second "She thinks she's Edith Head / She thinks she's Edith Head now / She thinks she's Edith Head / She thinks she's Edith Head now". Is that supposed to happen, or do I have a different version that isn't on the wiki?

The sound is different coming from both the left and right channels on the version from Long Tall Weekend; left has singing and some guitar, while the right has more guitar and the drums (or something like that), though they converge at the chorus. Perhaps the copy of it you found was ripped in mono from one side or something along those lines. ~ magbatz 23:34, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, I figure it out now. Kinda strange that the vocals would be completely on the left channel, though.
That's called "Beatles stereo"! (..I didn't just make up that term) -CapitalQtalk ♪ 00:39, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

More studio chatter by Flansy[edit]

On both this version and the Mink Car version, you can faintly hear, "Play more, one more!" I've only heard this on my computer, but you can hear Flansy saying "You guys wanna listen to the whole thing?" abruptly interrupted by the "Play more, one more" then Flansy replies "Okay, one more!" I haven't heard it anywhere else before. I should note that currently the right-eared reception on my iPod is broken, but it comes from the left side, or the instrumental side. --Dunklekuh81

No vocals?[edit]

Is it just me, or does the YouTube version lack vocals on the first "She thinks she's Edith Head / She thinks she's Edith Head now" section? --ColorOfInfinity (talk) 20:47, 26 May 2022 (EDT)
