TMBG regarding Weird Al[edit]
I imagine the quote about “We’re trying to shake the yoke of geek rockers,” is less to do with an opinion of Al by TMBG and more of their then-label, Elecktra, trying to fit TMBG into a more commercial peg hole. This was, after all, before they left Electra in 1995.--Pittsburghmuggle (talk) 12:20, 5 April 2022 (EDT)
Should Everything You Know Is Wrong have a page here?[edit]
Seeing as the song known until recently as "I Might Be Giants, Too" does. --ColorOfInfinity (talk) 16:52, 20 July 2023 (EDT)
- I think the difference is that John & John have incorporated IMBGT into their concerts, and platforms including Radio TMBG and the TMBG Podcast. They basically brought it into the band's canon. -CapitalQ ♫ talk ♪ 17:24, 20 July 2023 (EDT)

Everything You Know is Wrong[edit]
I was listening to Al's TMBG tribute "Everything You Know is Wrong" and despite noticing all the references in it over the years I felt stupid realizing all these years later the "meta" reference that it's the same basic pattern of Turn Around in that it's the singer rattling off three surreal stream-of-consciousness stories, followed by a refrain using the title of the song. Duh.--Pittsburghmuggle (talk) 22:45, 27 May 2024 (EDT)
Such a love story[edit]
Reading this now that Weird Al and TMBG appeared together on the Office Hours Live podcast, with the picture of John, John, Al and Tim at the top to boot, has been strangely moving! Such a story of unrequited love/fandom over the years on Weird Al’s part. The Silver Chauffeur (talk) 00:32, 29 March 2026 (EDT)
