Syd Straw is a musician who opened for They Might Be Giants at several shows in 1992. She has also accompanied TMBG live on occasion, singing Laura Cantrell's part in "The Guitar" or the lead vocal in "Boat Of Car". In 1992, she appeared on The Tonight Show with TMBG, performing "The Guitar". Syd Straw appears in Gigantic (A Tale Of Two Johns).
