stelluB b/w Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love is a double A-side single by They Might Be Giants released in 2024.

"stelluB" is a backwards version of "Sapphire Bullets Of Pure Love" that debuted on TMBG's 30th Anniversary Flood Tour in February 2020, which became a concert staple in the years to follow.
After close to 80 live performances, the band recorded a studio version of the track for this single. The opposite side of the 7" single (simply labeled "Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love") features that new studio recording of "stelluB" played in reverse. This is similar to how shows on the 30th Anniversary Flood Tour featured a reversed video replay of the backwards performance of "stelluB" that had been recorded earlier in the show.
Digital downloads for the single were first released to members of the 2024 Instant Fan Club on June 12, 2024. Included was an accompanying description by John Flansburgh introducing the recording:
The history of this recording goes back just a few years when the band was about to embark on a tour of Flood shows across the US. Sometimes unafraid of taking on a real musical challenge, we all committed to reproducing the song "Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love" sonically in reverse. The song's percussive nature seemed better suited as short notes often reproduce clearly when played backward, and the song was short enough that we wouldn't find ourselves hypnotized by the end. After a lot of rehearsal it was ready to go.
