John Flansburgh attended JoCo Cruise 2016, which featured Jonathan Coulton and many cruise guests performing together for the Saturday night concert. In honor of David Bowie's recent passing, many guests performed tributes by covering his songs.
Rather than incorporating the live band like the night's other performances, Flansburgh chose to record a backing track for his rendition of "Breaking Glass" and turned it into a piece of performance art, singing live while being dragged by a human chain made up of fellow guests, Alex Bradley, Renée Camus and Gina Mai Denn.
