TMBG supported Spanish pop group Duncan Dhu. In a 2018 interview, the band cited technical problems and called this one of their worst concerts.^[1] John Linnell described the show in a 1990 interview: "We played in Madrid and everyone was screaming before we even started playing and they didn't even know who we were and they were singing to all the songs."

The band originally had a show in Nuremberg scheduled for this date.^[2][3]
