They Might Be Giants
— with Stewart Sherman, Animal X and the Amazons, The Aerodance Group opening —
4D in New York, NY
September 19, 1986 at 11:00 PM

They Might Be Giants performing at the club while wearing masks.

Fan Recaps and Comments:

Tickets were $20 and the doors opened at 10 p.m.
This venue was a brand new nightclub in New York that had opened 3 days prior. Cornelius Conboy and Dennis Gatra, the original owners of 8BC, served as creative directors.[1] According to Michael Overn, who did video for 4D[2] and had unsuccessfully worked with They Might Be Giants to make a music video [3], the club was ill-fated.
