Trivia/Info
- Less instrumentation than the final version on The Pink Album. Bass synth is more prominent, and rhythmic inflections are different in parts such as the "Hats as megaphones" line.
- After the first "here's the reason why" is a crazy sound-sample-laden bridge demonstrating numerous samples preloaded on the Fairlight CMI, instead of the final's Raymond Scott's "Powerhouse" adaptation. The same bridge can be heard (with additional commentary) in the live recording from the same year.
- Although first released in 1985, this demo may have appeared on Dial-A-Song as early as 1984.[1]
