Matthew Hill

Matthew Hill is a childhood friend of both Johns. He has a writing credit on "James K. Polk" and assisted in the production of the Giants' first album, on which he and Mark Boyer are credited as executive producers.

He currently lives in western Massachusetts with his wife Lisa Klapp (whose voice can be heard in "Ana Ng"), three children, and two cats. He runs an online Halloween company called O'Lantern, Longshadow, and McCobb Ltd. and still hangs out with the band now and then. He ran a club called Quiet Life in Brooklyn in the late eighties, where TMBG played several times. Two years after the birth of his daughter, the family moved out of the city, eventually settling in a remote town in Massachusetts.
