⚫ New shows added! ⚫ Shows on sale now and selling out! ⚫[edit]
Greetings everyone. John F. here, just back from our Boston victory party. A huge shout out to everyone who came out to the shows in Philly, DC, Brooklyn, and Boston for making so many memorable nights, and a note of true gratitude to our most dedicated crew for keeping everything on track from Australia, through the UK and Ireland, and on the east coast.
THE SOUTH and THE WEST COAST!
We are very excited to announce, due to overwhelming demand, a ton of additional shows coming up in the south and on the west coast. Many of the shows already announced are also selling steadily and are closing in on selling out, so just a heads up to everybody to get focused up soon even though it might seem a ways away. All of these shows will feature the eight-piece band and the new free-range, cage-free song selection that seems to keep both ourselves and you all super psyched. Album spotlights should be expanding and all two-night stands will feature pretty different repertoire.
In this in-between time we will be putting the finishing touches on our new album for 2025.
Here is wishing everyone a great holiday!

Our Music Hall of Williamsburg Duo Show is now available to YOU right now for zero dough.
For one brief shining moment, They Might Be Giants returned to their original format: a drum machine and synth bass tracked to a TEAC reel-to-reel tape recorder with a duo lineup of John L. on accordion and John F. on a Japanese telecaster (even taking care to bring back his original Fender Deluxe amp and minimal pedal complement). It was all Big 80s Systems at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn for this special set. Combining some early classics with recent numbers into a truly dynamic set of songs, this recording is a unique glimpse of They Might Be Giants Version 1.0.
To top things off, the second set that night reintroduced They Might Be Giants' long-standing live lineup of the 21st century and, like John Henry of legend, they set out to prove that live humans will always eclipse the heartless, error-free efforts of machines. Who won? Only you can decide. This is an Idlewild exclusive and will not appear on streaming sites anywhere.
