Hey everybody, John F. here, taking a walk and talking into a phone to explain all the things that are happening...
THE MAY JUNE MIDWEST SHOWS
We are going on tour in May and June in the Midwest. Most of the shows are sold out and the rest are going fast, so we want to implore all y'all to get your tickets now at www.TMBG.com. We’re playing two nights in most places. Of course that leaves a good amount of time for favorites from Flood and the latest from BOOK, but among other things that will make this BIG SHOW fresh is dedicating a portion of the show to spotlighting other albums. We’re talking like possibly 10 songs from [insert your favorite album]. This will involve learning some tracks we’ve never played before as well as the band having a fair bit more repertoire under our belts from night to night than ever before, but if you couldn’t tell already, this band is into SELF-IMPROVEMENT. And, as it is our dream, the BIG eight-piece band, including the horns with Mr. Mark Pender, Dan “The Machine” Levine, and Stan Harrison, will be joining us to "kill it at will" as is their wont.
I suspect everybody should know by now that our shows are almost always “An Evening With,” which is a fancy way to say we start really early, about an hour after doors. There’s no opener, so don’t be late. We’ve been doing things this way for about a decade, so sometime soon that guy on social media who always walks in on Birdhouse in Your Soul won’t be posting anymore.

THE UPCOMING INSTANT FAN CLUB OFFERING
Sometime very soon the new Instant Fan Club will be dropping –– exactly as soon as we can chase down all these looming details! It’s all very exciting and we can’t wait to get things rolling. The moment you join you’ll get preview tracks from our new live brass project with the working title Beast of Horns. Of course, Instant Fan Club members will be receiving our next album before anyone else along with some secret music yet to be determined, as well as a host of wild physical objects related to the band (including a 7” vinyl release of Stillub, the version of Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love performed fully backward and then reversed –– a true double A-sided single if there ever was one!).
There is even a wild premium offering with a custom song featuring YOUR NAME as well as a photo op with me and John that will prove to be a bear to organize.
