JOHN F. HIT BY A REAL CAR, SHOWS POSTPONED

As you probably know from our previous posts, last week John F. was seriously injured riding in a car service that was hit by a drunk driver’s vehicle. Of course, the band’s long-delayed shows once again need to be rescheduled, and we are working on that right now. Watch this space for updates. Right now, we are all expecting Flansurgh’s full recovery by the end of July, so the August shows seem safe. A NOTE FROM JOHN F.

“Hey everybody—John F., guitar man of They Might Be Giants here with an update on my scene. After six long days at the hospital, I am now recovering at home. It will be slow but I am already feeling much better (at least that’s what the meds told me to say). This week's shows will all be happening eventually, and I can guarantee they will be worth the wait. Thanks to all for your kind notes, and thanks to the Daily News for bumping me up to lead guitarist. (Dan, it wasn’t me!)”
