NEW SONG AT MP3 SERVICE
Greasy Kid Stuff - available now!
www.tmbg.com/freeTunes.html

I've got the hairdo of a child.
It's so unruly - it doesn't suit me.

My hair is really growing wild.
It needs some schooling - it needs some grooming.
Oh! Radio! Can't you hear? Hear my plea?
We need greasy kid stuff, greasy kid stuff yeah!

My radio was out of style. Like some old movie - it wasn't groovy.
I tried to fake it for a while. Songs by committee-it was a pity.
Oh! Radio! Can't you hear? Hear my plea?
We need greasy kid stuff. Greasy kid stuff yeah!

FLANSBLOG

A note from Flansburgh:

"Hello everyone. We hope this finds you all enjoying 2007 so far. There's a huge amount of new free stuff available to y'all as we wrap up our big projects, so check out the linkmania scattered throughout this update. Happy to report Bob Dylan evidently spins Bangs on his upcoming radio show on XM. Hard to imagine anyone lives in the same world as Mr. Dylan, needless to say we are flattered beyond words to be included on his radio show. Another exciting development we just heard about: a great new band out of Brooklyn, TV on the Radio, just recorded a version of Dead for Napster.com. Go to the link section and check that out too.

"Whence That Wince" is an animation from the desk of Mr. John Linnell. The recording is a cover of a Walt Kelly song that includes vocal performances by myself and Robin "Goldie" Goldwasser.

Our new Podcast 21A, the first of 2007, is out now. It includes "Vestibule," recently included in our free MP3 service, as well as the new track "Greasy Kid Stuff." That song was written in honor of the fine radio program "Greasy Kid Stuff" (www.greasykidstuff.net) formerly on the exceptionally excellent freeform giant WFMU and now on 94.7 Alternative Portland, a station our antenna isn't sensitive enough to pick up yet (but we're sure it's good too).

See you in St. Louis!-
John F. TMBG"
