COMPLETE TOUR INFO AT BOTTOM

A note from Flans: "Thanks to all the Texas people for stuffing into that very hot room in Austin. It was a wonderful night of music and friends new and old. The Barsuk people were tremendous and we want to recommend everyone to their fine roster of artists, and can't express how excited we are for the release of "Indestructible Object." We're still reeling from the bar-b-que and camaraderie. Happy happy to see my old my pal Timothy "Speed" Levitch at SxSW. (Seems like I've got to go to Texas to connect with my favorite New Yorkers...) We're busy in NYC wrapping up the next rock album with P. Dillett and the boys. Very rock. Very band. Pardon our out of date websites, but we'll be on that soon!"

GOING GOING GONE... The fine MP3's of TMBG's Other Thing will be taken down shortly on www.tmbg.com, so please download them at your earliest!

Now Hear This with John Flansburgh airs Friday April 2 and April 9 at 3PM on 93.9 FM Attention New York! Attention the World! "Now Hear This" is a casual and highly subjective survey of the popular music scene, with an emphasis on the best of the new. Host and show creator John Flansburgh, best known as a member of the band They Might Be Giants, is your guide for this unique glimpse inside the multidimensional world of pop music. The show includes live performances, interviews with musicians and songwriters, spotlight on recent releases and reissues, and a special segment called Guilty Pleasure/Hidden Treasure where a celebrity explains their passion for an overexposed song as well as an unknown recording.

"Indestructible Object" is a five song EP including "Am I Awake" which is the featured song from the TLC show "Resident Life." The show includes two tracks of They Might Be Giants' Other Thing- the beautiful Beach Boys cover "Caroline No" and an amazing reworking of the classic b-side "Ant" featuring a freak-off between Mark Pender on trumpet and John Linnell that has to be heard to be believed. Preview tracks "Au Contraire" and "Memo to Human Resources" give a glimpse of the upcoming TMBG album coming this summer. +++++ TMBG's song on Homestar Runner....
