The song says "Off and On" about the lights. This is the way it is in the Bible. Night then Day. A connection? We're taught that everything in the Bible is specific and important, is it not so with the lyrics of TMBG? (I assume you all feel this way, due to your meticulous interpretations.)
If so, this was probably not on purpose. Both John's have made it rather clear that they are not religious. ~ fingertips
I think it's just about a dreamer who belives he can do anything, and even though he's just a beginner, he's sure that no matter what he can like his film, and not care what anyone else thinks. He's planning for a hopefull future, and he thinks big.
