Interpretations:Walk On Water

From This Might Be A Wiki

Marvelously funny and inventive. This is the only Otis Ball song I know but it seems to be as good as a lot of TMBG songs. Naturally, the song is about a failed relationship. The narrator is talking about committing suicide -- he won't really be able to walk on the water (he'll sink and drown) or fly through the air (if a plane gets in his way, he doesn't care because the result will be the same). If his ex joins him, she will "never sleep" again -- she'll be as dead as he will. --Nehushtan 21:34, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
