- TMBG Unlimited: "Flansburgh's unflinching fake German accent, along with the unwelcome idea of clown nudity uniquely qualifies this as an inappropriate song for kids. One of the first tracks for the children's album, this song was deemed "too creepy" to be for kids (by everyone)."
