This show, along with a pair of performances the following night, were the final shows at Darinka before it closed down. An article in the May 1, 1987 issue of the New York Post described the gig:

Darinka (118 E. First St., 212-598-0157) Open Thurday-Sunday, $5 for members, $10 non-members ($5 membership fee). Tonight: "They Might Be Giants," a "Post-punk neo-dada pop" musical group. Darinka then becomes a "floating club," organizing performances in various spaces.
